Oudtshoorn self-catering or bed and breakfast – You have found the perfect destination to relax, promising not only beautiful scenery but also serenity. Here nature is on full display, with spectacular mountain views, indigenous bird species and the sweet fragrance of roses in bloom.
The days pass slower here. In the summer you can lounge next to our pool; refreshing drink in hand, enjoy a picnic under the willows or even take a swim in the farm dam. In winter enjoy a traditional home cooked meal and then cuddle up in front of the fire with a good book and glass of fortified wine.
Children will love our play park and all the open space to run around and explore.
Standard Rooms
Our standard rooms have two single beds except for room 4 which have three single beds. All rooms have private entrances from the garden with views of the dam or Swartberg Mountain Range.
Room 1 overlooks the garden and Swartberg Mountain Range.
Room 2 has a queen size bed with shower en-suite. The patio overlooks the garden, the Swartberg Mountain Range as well as the dam.
Room 4 is a triple room with shower. Beautiful Queen Anne Stove with views of the farm dam and mountains.
Room 6, 7 & 8 have views of the shade of the willows on the dam.
Manor 1 & 3 have views of the garden and Manor 1 has a porch overlooking the mountains.
Self-Catering Unit
This free-standing unit has a lovely, sunny annex and kitchenette. Two single beds can be added within the annex to accommodate two young children.
Family Units
Both of our family rooms consist of two separate sleeping areas and can accommodate two adults and three children under the age of 12. Each room has a bathroom en-suite with shower only. Children will enjoy the abundance of space and our play park and we have a baby crib available for parents travelling with infants.
Manor 5 was recently restored to expose the thatched roof. This unit consists of two rooms joined by a bathroom with shower only. The main room has two single beds which can be converted to a king size bed and the second room holds three single beds.
Manor Suite’s main room has a King Size bed and bathroom en-suite with shower. Second room with two sleeping sections with double bed in each section – room suitable for two adults and three young children maximum.
Honeymoon Suite
Two rooms are suited for honeymooners, each unique in character. These rooms set the tone for your first memorable moments as a couple. Features a king-size bed with bathroom en-suite (bath and shower).
Room 5 has a spacious bathroom with a corner bath, shower and views of the dam and mountains.
Manor 2 with its Victorian style bath and patio has a view of the garden and mountains.
